We are a small, family run business that takes immense pride in giving passengers on our still-water canal cruise an unforgettable, family-friendly and affordable experience. Our cruise is considered a “must do” item for anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast.

Famous 1H Cruise

This Mooloolaba Harbour River Canal Cruise takes you through 3 different areas  aboard the M.V. Mudjimba, the only genuine historic timber ferry in operation on the Sunshine Coast today.

Our private charters run for 2 hours and depart from The Wharf, Mooloolaba between 4.30pm and 6.30 pm. Alternatively, if you have access to a private pontoon or jetty, we can pick up your party and drop them back right to your doorstep.

Group Bookings

The M.V. Mudjimba can accommodate up to 40 passengers on a one hour group booking, and is extremely popular with many bus and tour operators such as Rotary, Probus, RSL, Veteran’s and Social clubs.

We spent a weekend at Mooloolaba for my daughter's birthday & the canal cruise was an hour well spent with my family. The skipper was friendly, professional, courteous and definitely a historian of the locality. We will definitely be doing it again. This is one of the MUST do things at Mooloolaba. The skipper allowed my kids to feed the fish for an extended period after all the passengers have disembarked. Thank you Skipper!

Really good cruise. The boat has history. Informative history on the canal . Good skipper and crew. You get to feed the Pelicans. Chance to see the birds up close. There is also fish feeding after the cruise. Highly recommended boat ride up into the canals.

If you are coming to Mooloolaba on a holiday, or even if you live here and want to get to see all the waterways this beautiful region has to offer, this is the company to go with. What makes this experience so enjoyable is the nostalgia of being aboard the historic timber ferry, the M.V. Mudjimba, and the owner/operators informative knowledge of the Mooloolaba canals. They are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet, who provide an amazing service making this a very memorable excursion..highly recommend this.
