1 Hour Cruise

OUR FAMOUS 1 HOUR CANAL CRUISE

We depart from the Mooloolaba Wharf passenger dock, right behind Sea Life.

A colourful and very informative live commentary is provided throughout the cruise so you will not only see the sights, but hear about them as well. Our regular 1 hour cruises depart at 11am, 1pm, and 2.30pm (excluding Wed & Sat).

We cruise past the Wharf complex & Marina towards Mooloolah Island.

On departure we cruise past the Wharf complex and Marina towards Mooloolah Island – a man-made island boasting some of Mooloolaba’s most desirable mansions and award winning homes.

We continue on past Minyama Island where you will hear all about its famous residents, celebrities and sports stars, before entering the Kawana Canal system and learning the history of the canal development – from useless swamp land, into some of Queensland’s most expensive real estate.

Our arrival back at the Wharf.

On our arrival back at the wharf, we feed the fish that only come out for us. This unique experience is just one of the reasons a cruise on the M.V. Mudjimba is one of the most popular things to do in Mooloolaba.

It’s then out to the river heads where we turn the boat around to take in the breathtaking views of the coastline from Mooloolaba Beach right up to Noosa Heads, before we head back through the river where we pass the pilot boats used by the Brisbane pilotage service, and observe the wild Osprey Eagles’ nest.

On our way back to the Wharf we pass the commercial fishing boats – home to the largest long line fishing fleet in Australia, and finish off the cruise passing the Mooloolaba Marina and Yacht Club.

Such a lovely afternoon, great history of the area and fun feeding pelicans! Such great value for the family I highly recommend, thank you.

We have had a fantastic time on the cruise, and learnt so much about the history of this area. Great fun, intimate, relaxing as well as entertaining. Kids got to drive the boat as well as feed pelicans, they come so close! Must do activity on the Sunny Coast.

Our group had such a great time on the cruise. It was affordable and a lot of fun. The commentary was excellent - entertaining and true, with a lot of local knowledge. We highly recommend this cruise.

Today we absolutely enjoyed a great cruise from the Mooloolaba wharf on a unique boat that was originally used around the Brisbane river years ago. This family owned/operated business is perfect for visitors and also for locals that are interested in hearing a colloquial history whilst cruising the lovely waters!

Great and fun one hour cruise. Very friendly staff. Great for kids and the parents. My daughter enjoyed pelican feeding, fish feeding and driving the cruise with the captain! The Wharf Tavern steak was absolutely fabulous! Highly recommended to book the tour with the food. We had a very good experience!
